Holcim Serbia operates one cement plant in the area of Popovac village, Paracin. The town of Paracin is located 170 km south of Belgrade. The company has an annual cement production capacity of 1.4 million tonnes and employs 711 people. Three different types of cement are produced: PC 52,5 N, PC 35M (S-Q) 42,5 N, MP 30 (S-Q) 32,5 N, as well as NOVIMAL, masonry mortar. Products quality control is entrusted to the Institute for Testing of Materials from Belgrade. Fabrika cementa Novi Popovac became a member of the Holcim Group in 2002. |
